How to take care of your golf cart!

These are the things that you should be doing once per month

Check the water Level in your batteries

The water level should be about an inch and a half from the very top.

Check the air pressure in your tires

The air pressure in your tires should be between 22 to 25 PSI. Some types of tires require different ranges of air pressure, so always check the outside of the tire for specifications.

Do not wash cart in your grass or driveway as the acid can kill the grass and stain the driveway.

Keep your batteries clean

Rinse off the top and sides of the batteries as well as the frame they sit in to keep acid build up at its minimum and your frame in good repair. Wash the cart at the clubhouse before you play so it will dry during play.

Battery Charging

Most battery manufactures suggest that you charge your batteries when they are between 40% & 80% of its capacity. If you accumulate more than 30 minutes of actual drive time, plug it in.

Time for service

You should have your golf cart serviced every 18 months by Advantage Golf Carts or the alternative dealer of your choice. If you are not able to make it to Advantage Golf Carts, be sure that your choose a reputable dealer, because there are a few who are not in this area.

What to do if your cart is going to be stored for an extended period of time.

When gone for 2 to 3 months

1. Make sure water is topped off to the appropriate level. 2, Pump tires to the recomended PSI. 3. Fully charge your gulf cart. 4. Unplug charger from the cart and from the wall. 5. Enjoy your trip!

When gone for 4 months or more

1. Do all the you would have done if you were going to be away for 2-3 months. 2. Make sure you fully clean your cart, inside and out, including the top of the batteries. 3. If possible, have someone stop by your home and charge you cart for one day every 2 months. It is important that they return the next day to unplug everything. 4. If no one is available, make sure your cart is clean. There is nothing more you can do.5. Enjoy your Trip!

Very Important!

Do not leave your chager plugged in while you are gone. Florida is the lightining capital of the world int the summer time and it could be a fire hazard
